My client a British multinational automobile manufacturer which produces luxury vehicles and sport utility vehicles. They are looking for Special Vehicles Quality Process Engineer to join their expanding team to support the Special Vehicles teams as well as suppliers to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycle.
Job Description
As Special Vehicles Quality Process Engineer your main responsibilities are:
The Engineer will own and lead the Special Vehicles Quality Operating System (QOS) and Supplier Technical Assistance (STA), this is the process our Client hold themselves and mainstream to, enabling high quality products and fast turnaround of issues.
Special Vehicles operate within the Client to deliver bespoke upfit solutions to our customers to drive their business productivity.
Objectives Support the Special Vehicles teams as well as suppliers to ensure product quality throughout the lifecycleQualifications / Skills needed
An Engineering degree with 5 Years' Experience in Automotive industry and Quality
Experience in Failure Mode Avoidance and Campaign prevention
Support cross-functional teams / meetings to ensure progress on issues affecting Special Vehicles.
Support development of the Special Vehicles quality process and delivery performance metrics charts.
Lead STA activities at Suppliers, including the PPAP and PSW processes
