SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a lovely special needs school in Hounslow that are looking for a teaching assistant to join their team from September! Experience within a special needs setting is desirable, but not essential.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL
The school is a SEN primary school for children from ages 3 to 11 with severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, some of whom also have a diagnosis of ASD. The school is warm and welcoming, and prides itself on nurturing a supportive and collaborative environment for all.
ABOUT YOU
They are seeking a strong teaching assistant who either has experience working with special needs, or who is quick to learn.
You need to be:
Proactive
Demonstrate good relationship building skills and be able to encourage the students to be as independent as possible
Experienced with supporting special needs
Willing to do personal care and support the children positively in all situations
Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, displaying empathy and understanding
Strong teamwork skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with colleagues to achieve common goals.
