Location - Stockport
Pay - £95-£110 per day, depending on experience
Start Date - 03/09/2026
Contract Type - Temp to Perm
Are you a calm and compassionate teaching assistant, with experience supporting complex needs? We are currently working with a large SEN provision in Stockport, to recruit experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join the team in September.
The school is a specialist college, who support pupils aged between 19-25, with complex needs.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support pupils on a 1:1 basis, providing both emotional and sensory support
Maintain regular communication with staff, parents and external agencies to monitor progress and development
Prepare engaging learning resourcesRequirements:
A Level 3 Diploma, or equivalent in Health and Social Care
Previous work experience supporting complex needs within a school or care setting is preferred
A calm, compassionate natureTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two yearsOTHER
