SEN Teacher – Leicester City
£180–£200 per day | Flexible Hours | Immediate Opportunities
Are you an experienced SEN Teacher looking for flexible work across Leicester City?
TeacherActive is working with a range of SEND schools and specialist provisions that are looking for passionate, adaptable teachers to support pupils with a variety of additional needs.
Whether you are looking for day-to-day supply, part-time hours or longer-term work, we can offer flexibility around your availability.
The role may include:
Teaching pupils with a range of SEND needs
Delivering engaging and accessible lessons
Adapting learning to individual needs and abilities
Supporting pupils with communication, behaviour and emotional regulation
Working closely with Teaching Assistants and support staff
Creating a calm, positive and inclusive classroom environment
We are looking for:
QTS or a recognised teaching qualification
Experience working with SEND pupils
Strong behaviour management skills
A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
Confidence supporting pupils with needs such as ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or complex needs
A genuine passion for helping young people progress
