Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Kidderminster
Contract: Full-time
We are seeking compassionate, skilled, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team. These positions are temporary to permanent, offering a pathway to a long-term role for the right candidates. The successful applicants will support children and young people with a range of needs, including trauma-related behaviour, SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), autism, anxiety, and personal care requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality, personalised support for pupils with additional needs.
* Personal care
* Assist with daily personal care and wellbeing.
* Support pupils in managing trauma-related and challenging behaviours.
* Work closely with teaching staff to implement individual learning plans.
* Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience supporting children with SEMH, autism, anxiety, and trauma-related behaviours.
* Ability to provide personal care sensitively and professionally.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, empathy, and resilience.
* Relevant qualifications or experience in SEN education, childcare, or support work.
* Full, clean driving licence and ability to travel as required.
