Description:

We are looking for teachers with SEN experience to join our schools in North London. If you are looking for a change from the mainstream classroom, or want to continue your passions within an SEN setting, then this may be for you.

As an SEN Primary School Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, developing and delivering lessons tailored to meet the diverse needs of children with SEN. You will work collaboratively with support staff, therapists and parents/ guardians to create engaging and inclusive lessons and address students' holistic needs, as well as adapting your teaching methods to support individual learning styles.

Responsibilities of a classroom teacher:

Develop and implement individualised education plans (IEP's) for students with a range of SEN, ensuring each child's unique needs are met.

Create a positive and nurturing classroom environment that fosters academic, social, and emotional growth.

Differentiate instruction and use innovative teaching strategies to accommodate varying abilities and learning styles.

Collaborate with support staff, therapists, and parents/guardians to address students' holistic needs and provide regular progress updates.

Maintain accurate records of students' progress, assessments, and interventions, adhering to school policies and procedures.

Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and contribute actively to the school's continuous improvement initiatives.

If you have:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant experience in teaching primary-aged children with SEN.

Sound knowledge of various special educational needs, including but not limited to autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and emotional/ behavioural difficulties

Strong communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external professionals effectively.

Commitment to continuous professional development and a passion for creating an inclusive learning environment.
