Spatial Planning Project Manager
Location: South London
Salary: £405 per day (umbrella)

Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Spatial Planning Project Manager to join a South West London Local Authority, as the Office Accommodation Manager. In this role, you will lead the efficient space planning across our corporate property portfolio, ensuring that our properties are well-equipped to meet staff requirements. Your responsibilities will include procuring office furniture, designing office furniture layouts, and developing a centralised system for all office moves and re-configurations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead changes to the workplace environment across the corporate property portfolio.
Identify and implement projects to make the best use of property assets.
Conduct property reviews to assess and optimise the utilisation of the corporate estate.
Devise and implement a central booking system for office reconfiguration and new space/layout requests.
Collaborate closely with the Property Team, Future Workplace Team, and Facilities Management colleagues.
Ensure all relevant teams are informed of timelines and planned changes.
Work with external contractors and suppliers to procure services and equipment.
Requirements:

Experience in spatial planning and utilisation of office space.
Ability to analyse data related to property assets and draft/upload floor plans into data systems.
Confident communicator, able to work independently and find compliant spatial solutions.
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in leading space planning projects.
Previous experience in a similar senior space planning position within a corporate setting.
Experience in managing office moves with a working knowledge of space standards.
Advanced AutoCad skills and proficiency in IT systems for data recording and manipulation.
Proficient in working with and analysing data using property data systems and spreadsheets.
Experience in budget management and supply chain management.
Knowledge of corporate landlord agenda and priorities around estate management, sustainability, and asset utilisation.
Strong understanding of property and health and safety legislation.
Advanced analytical skills for space analysis and organisation.
