Ofsted rated 'outstanding' Secondary Academy based in Merton, South London, are looking for a strong and experienced SPANISH teacher who can deliver Spanish for all key stages. You will have the opportunity to work with an already highly reputable school and join a well-organised MFL department. This position is to start ASAP on a temporary basis, initially for 1 term, but might be longer or permanent for the right candidate.Your new role
Starting immediately, you will be responsible for teaching Spanish across KS3, KS4 and KS5. As this is a long-term assignment, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, as well as completing the subsequent marking and assessment of pupils' work, ensuring all pupils are progressing well within the classroom.This role will also require you to ensure all behaviour is appropriate, and that pupils are achieving to the best of their ability. As this is a long-term position, you will also be required to attend parents' evenings and other school functions.You will join a well-organised department alongside with other Modern Foreign Language teachers.What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in securing this position, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and have experience of teaching Spanish across all key stages and are confident with the national curriculum. You must be available to start as soon as possible and be able to work through to July 2024, with a real passion and drive to provide a high quality of teaching and therefore contribute to the overall success of the department.What you'll get in return
