A Rochdale school are seeking a Spanish Teacher to start September on a temporary to permanent contract.
We are seeking a qualified teacher of Spanish, who has experience delivering and assessing all aspects of Key Stage 3 & 4 Spanish. This role would be a great step for an Early Career Teacher or a Teacher who is keen to source a new role for 2024 in an established department and to work as part of a successful team.
Being part of a MFL department, the successful Spanish Teacher will have opportunities to teach across French also and if wanting to gain more experience and gain knowledge of German - school are happy to support that too.
The school is a positive and supportive academy trust with a sister school based in Oldham. There is opportunity to work alongside both schools and discover how multiple departments work.
The school has an opportunity arising for a permanent contract, therefore if you are seeking a permanent role this will be the ideal introduction for you.
Candidates will be responsible for;
* Planning and delivering of engaging lessons.
* Assessment of pupils.
* Report writing.
* Direction of teaching assistants/learning support.
* Attendance at parents evening and other meeting as required.
* Classroom/Behaviour management in line with school policies and procedures.
Applicant requirements;
* Candidates must hold Qualified Teacher Status/ QTLS or equivalent and have experience teaching in UK secondary schools.
* The school will consider and urge for applications from Early Career Teachers.
* Candidate will be required to work in partnership with TA's and other members of the department to contribute to the overall success of the pupils
* Candidates must be able to fully commit to the full-time role which commences in Setpember 2024 until July 2025
* Candidates will be required to hold an enhanced DBS disclosure and will be subject to safeguarding checks.
