About the Role:

I am currently looking for a passionate and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join my partner secondary school within Kirklees starting in September 2024. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality Spanish lessons to students across various age groups, fostering a love for the language and culture, and contributing to the overall academic success of the students.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging and effective Spanish lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
Create a stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to cater to the different learning styles of students.
Maintain classroom discipline in accordance with the school's policies.
Participate in departmental meetings, training, and CPD (Continuing Professional Development) activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and develop innovative teaching strategies.
Provide pastoral support to students as needed.Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
A degree in Spanish or a related field.
Proven experience teaching Spanish at the secondary school level is desirable.
Excellent command of the Spanish language.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students.
