Spanish or French Teacher Key Stage 3 – Key Stage 5, Holmer Green
Role: Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher
Location: Holmer Green
Start date: September 2024
At Supply Desk, we are seeking an ambitious Modern Foreign Languages Teacher, specialising in Spanish and French, for a school. The role involves teaching MFL to students across Key Stages 3 to 5. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons that inspire a passion for the subject among the pupils.
As a modern foreign language’s teacher:
Listen to students' feedback on their preferred learning methods and styles
Teach Modern Foreign Languages, focusing on Spanish and French, to Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5 pupils
Consider students' previous learning and achievements to set targets for future improvement
Establish high expectations for student behaviour by creating a purposeful working atmosphere in line with the Behaviour for Learning strategies
Plan lessons, create sample problems, assign homework, and write tests as part of daily tasks
Conduct teaching duties in accordance with the school's schemes of work and the National Curriculum
Collaborate on the delivery of Spanish or French to support the effective development of the subject throughout the school
Requirements for the Role:
Current valid DBS or the willingness to obtain one.
Hold QTS / PGCE or the equivalent (Unqualified teachers are welcome to apply)
Able to provide two years’ worth of employment references.
Positive and enthusiastic approach to education.
Fluent in Spanish and/or French
Ability to commute to Holmer Green and the surrounding areas
