Our client is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Sous Chef looking for the next step in their career, and has an immediate start available. Working with a talented Head Chef, you’ll be working at an establishment with one of the biggest reputations across the SW, you’ll have a proven background in a professional kitchen and will be looking to learn and develop your skills.
The food offering is relaxed serving quality dishes that showcase the best locally sourced ingredients.
The right candidate will have a positive attitude, be enthusiastic, able to cover the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence as well as understand stock control and ordering procedures.
You’ll be responsible for the supervision, preparation, and service of food, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times in keeping with the kitchen’s high standards. You will also be required to ensure that strict hygiene regulations are adhered to.
You’ll first and foremost have a passion for food, be hard-working, and be excited by developing new menus and ideas with a focus on seasonality and quality produce. Our client has high standards however the most important ingredient they are looking for is a passion for the kitchen and a desire to be the best.
Own transport would be needed, due to the location of the role
