The Opportunity
Global Highland are recruiting for a passionate and motivated Sous Chef to join the kitchen team of our client within a group of hotels in the stunning surroundings of Skye.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced chef who enjoys working in a busy kitchen and takes pride in producing high-quality fresh food. Working alongside the Head Chef, you will help lead the kitchen team, maintain high standards and ensure the smooth running of daily service.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen
* Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes
* Helping to lead, motivate and support the kitchen team
* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and safety standards
* Managing food preparation and stock levels
* Ensuring a clean, organised and efficient kitchen
* Taking responsibility for the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence
Requirements
* Previous experience in a Sous Chef or senior chef role
* Passionate about food and delivering high standards
* Reliable, organised and able to work well under pressure
* A positive team player with good communication skills
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety
* Driving licence preferred but not essential
