Lead Solutions Architect (SAP) - Contract - Hybrid (Barrow-in-Furness)
We're looking for an experienced Lead Solutions Architect with strong SAP solution architecture expertise to support a major digital and IT programme in a complex environment.
Contract details
Duration: 12 months
Working pattern: Hybrid (Barrow-in-Furness onsite 2 to 4 days per month)
Rate: £80 PAYE or £108.19 Umbrella
Clearance: BPSS + SC (or eligible)
Restrictions: UK Eyes Only / ITAR applicable
What you'll be doing
Leading the design and delivery of SAP-based solutions aligned to business and customer goals
Owning solution architecture across the full lifecycle (requirements through delivery and support)
Driving systems integration, technical strategy, and roadmap planning
Producing technical proposals and presenting to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Supporting governance, change control, risk management, and protection of systems and information
Coordinating delivery across internal teams and suppliers to meet service, quality, and version control standards
What we're looking for
Significant experience as a Solutions Architect / Lead Solutions Architect in enterprise environments
Strong SAP architecture knowledge (solution design, integration, governance)
Proven background delivering within large-scale transformation or complex IT programmes
Confident stakeholder management and the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured approach to risk and change
