Solution Architect (Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant)

London, Bristol, Manchester, or Belfast (Hybrid – 2 days per week on-site)

Salary:

Senior Consultant: £67k–£78k + £5,900 travel + 15% bonus

Principal Consultant: £80.7k–£107.6k + £5,900 travel + 15–20% bonus

Overview:

This team designs and delivers software-driven solutions across the public and private sectors, particularly government, defence, and healthcare. They work closely with engineering teams to shape technical direction and lead the architecture of complex systems from discovery through delivery.

Key focus areas:

Application-level architecture – microservices, APIs, software design

*

Cloud experience (Azure or AWS)

*

Strong software engineering roots (Java or .NET preferred)

*

Proven ability to create HLDs, architecture decision records, and clear documentation

*

Ability to engage confidently with both technical and business stakeholders

*

Eligible for security clearance
