What can you bring to Banham?

As a Solution Engineer, you will be instrumental in the implementation, customisation, and ongoing support of essential third-party applications, including IFS Field Service, Sage X3 ERP, and associated solutions pivotal to our Finance and Operations success. Collaborating closely with Technology Project Managers, Business Stakeholders, and our Technology Engineering & Support teams to ensure seamless integration and optimisation of these technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Requirements Development:

Identify and analyse complex business needs in partnership with Technology and senior Finance/Operations stakeholders.

Design strategic technology solutions to meet evolving business demands.

Develop detailed technical specifications for FSM, PSO, and ERP enhancements.
Solution Architecture and Implementation Oversight:

Configure and customize IFS Field Service, Sage X3 ERP, and associated platforms.

Implement and manage integrations with CRM, eCommerce, HRIS, and Supply Chain Management systems.

Ensure data integrity and system stability through comprehensive testing and quality assurance.
Collaboration & Communication:

Effectively communicate technical concepts and project updates to diverse audiences.

Provide end-user support, troubleshooting system issues, and delivering user training sessions.

Develop comprehensive user documentation to enhance system utilisation and adoption.
Professional Requirements:

1 to 3 years of experience in technology development/engineering roles.

Strong understanding of software development principles and database management.

Proficiency in SQL/T-SQL, XML, JSON, and scripting languages (JavaScript, PowerShell, Python).

Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.

Experience in gathering requirements and translating business needs into technical solutions.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
