Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer – Court of Protection
Location: Local Authority Remote
Contract: Locum
Hours: Full-time
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join a busy Local Authority legal team on a locum basis.
The successful candidate will manage their own caseload of Court of Protection matters, while also providing legal advice and support to the Adult Social Care department.
Key Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of Court of Protection matters from instruction through to completion.
Provide clear, practical legal advice to Adult Social Care colleagues.
Draft legal documents, correspondence and court paperwork.
Manage your own case administration, bundling and preparation where required.
Work independently while contributing effectively to a small and supportive legal team.
About You
Qualified solicitor, barrister or CILEX lawyer with relevant experience.
Essential: Demonstrable experience in Court of Protection and Adult Social Care law.
Able to manage a caseload independently and work to deadlines.
Strong drafting, communication and organisational skills.
Comfortable managing your own administrative and bundling requirements.
You’ll be joining a small legal team consisting of two lawyers and a senior legal assistant, with the opportunity to make an immediate contribution.
