Site Manager

We are looking for a proven results-driven site manager to join our organisation. In this position, you will be the point of contact for contractors and will liaise between team members and management. You must have strong organisational and communication skills and be able to work both individually and in teams.

Job Role:

Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.

Implement and enforce health and safety procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and maintain a safe working environment.

Monitor project progress, identify potential issues or delays, and implement solutions to keep the project on schedule.

Coordinate with the project team, including design, engineers, and clients, to ensure specifications and requirements are met.

Oversee quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and construction.

Manage site documentation, including permits, drawings, and project schedules.

Prepare regular progress reports and attend meetings with senior management to provide updates on project status.

Conducting regular site inspections to ensure that all work is carried out to the required standards

Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Requirements:

SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid at Work, UK driving licence

Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and direct a team effectively

Good problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions on the job

Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage conflicting priorities and competing demands

Good organizational skills and the ability to plan and prioritize tasks effectively

The ability to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines

Good understanding of construction processes and building regulations

IT literate

This role involves both site-based (locations country wide) and office elements. Candidates must be able to manoeuvre safely around construction sites and perform office tasks efficiently. Pay: £42,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
