We are recruiting on behalf of a premium, MCS certified solar panel and battery storage installation company based in Wiltshire. NICEIC approved and RECC accredited, they have completed over 1,500 installations across Wiltshire and the South West with a 5-star customer rating and a strong reputation for quality, precision and exceptional aftercare.

This is a close-knit, quality-focused business where every installation is bespoke — no off-the-shelf packages, no rushed jobs. They are growing their installation team to meet increasing demand and are looking for an experienced Solar Installer who shares their commitment to doing things properly.

The Role,

We are looking for an experienced Solar Panel and Battery Storage Installer to join the team, delivering high-quality domestic solar PV, battery storage and EV charger installations primarily across Wiltshire, Bath and Bristol — with occasional work further afield across the South West. You will be working on bespoke residential systems, representing a premium brand and delivering a standard of finish that matches the quality of the product.

Key Responsibilities:

* Installing domestic solar PV systems to MCS standards

* Installing battery storage systems including Tesla Powerwall, Sigenergy and EcoFlow

* Installing EV chargers (OZEV approved installations)

* Carrying out electrical testing and inspection in line with 18th Edition regulations

* Completing all relevant MCS documentation and certification accurately

* Commissioning systems and setting up monitoring platforms for customers

* Ensuring all installations are completed to the highest standard of workmanship and finish

* Representing the company professionally on customer properties at all times

* Reporting to the lead installer and management team

Requirements:

* Proven experience installing solar PV and battery storage systems (essential)

* 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential)

* 2391 Inspection and Test qualification (essential)

* MCS awareness and understanding of compliance requirements

* Strong electrical knowledge and fault-finding ability

* Excellent attention to detail and quality of finish

* Professional and customer-facing manner

* Based within 20 miles of Broughton Gifford, Melksham (SN12 8PH) — essential

* Must be able to report to the office by 07:30am daily

* Full UK driving licence (essential)

Desirable:

* Qualified installer

* Experience with Tesla Powerwall, Sigenergy or EcoFlow battery systems

* NICEIC registered electrician

Working Areas

Primarily covering BA, SN and BS postcodes — Wiltshire, Bath and Bristol areas — with occasional work across the wider South West region.
