Sub Contract Solar Team – Overview

We are working with one of the fastest growing Solar Installation companies in the UK who are seeking to add a Solar Team to their to their subcontract network. Though the role is Sub Contract, you will be with them permanently and they can guarantee you 5 days work per week.

The work (and the price) is all labour only. You will work within the Northern Home Counties and will receive your job schedule a week in advance. The company have secured two contracts with major Energy Companies for the next 4 years, the majority of the work on these jobs is focused on these.

They currently installs circa 150 Solar PV systems per month and they are extremely organised in how they carry out jobs. They make the installs as simple as possible. Every job is fully technically surveyed and you are provided with a full installation pack with floor plans, roof measurements and a detailed design of how the system is to go in. They also have all materials delivered to site and all scaffolding is up and in place prior to you being sent to jobs meaning on arrival, you can get straight on with the install with no waiting around.

You will work within your 2-3 man team (ideally Electrician + Roofer) to install 1 job per day. The installs a normally up to 12 panels, some with a battery, some Solar only. The company also provide you with circa £10,000 worth of van stock – spares, parts, materials etc so that you never get stuck on a job of site if anything is missing.

You will need a Full UK Driving Licence and your own transport as a team.

Sub Contract Solar Team – Requirements

* Electrician - 18th Edition, 2391, BPEC Level 3 for Solar

* Experience with Fox Systems (advantageous)

* Own Transport, Insurance, Tools

Sub Contract Solar Roofer – Rates

* Rates based on Number of Panels, Size of job etc

* 1 jobs per day, 5 days per week
