Astute's Renewables are proud to be working with one of Europe's leading solar O&M specialists, supporting their continued UK growth. We are looking to recruit a Field Service Engineer to join their team, covering the Aberdeen area, with occasional travel as required.
This Field Service Engineer role offers a salary of £45,000, along with a company vehicle and fuel card plus door to door travel is including within your working day.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Reporting to the Service Team Leader, you will:
Visual inspection activities, cleaning and report to management team.
Routine maintenance activities on modules, inverters, cables and connectors, DC and AC distribution boxes.
Routine maintenance activities on module mounting systems, fence and gates, inverter and transformer stations.
Routine maintenance activities on monitoring and communication equipment.
Routine maintenance activities on security system devices.
Fault finding on electrical components by means of visual inspections or professional site measurement activities.
Professional qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Certification or equivalent.
At least five years' experience in industrial electrical installation and maintenance.
Previous Solar PV maintenance experience is preferred.
Strong knowledge of DC electrical systems, high-voltage equipment, and occupational health & safety regulations.
Proficiency in MS Office
Full, clean UK driving licence.
Personal skills

Willing and flexible to travel to sites as and when required
Strong in problem-solving and able to work under pressure.
