£45,000 - £55,000 + Overtime + Van + Bonus + Long-Term Stability + Consistent Work
UK Wide Travel with Overnight Stays (Commutable from: Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Bristol, London)
Are you a qualified Electrician with Solar PV experience looking for a stable, long-term role with a busy contractor that can offer consistent work and a strong support set-up?
Do you want a Monday-Friday position with no weekends, covering a steady pipeline of residential installs across the UK?
On offer is a permanent role with a well-established specialist contractor completing a high volume of domestic and commercial installs each month, alongside maintenance and commissioning work. You'll join a small, close-knit team and be kept busy with full-time work as the business continues to grow through new tender wins.
In this role you will travel UK-wide (with overnight stays where required) carrying out residential solar PV installations, working from a schedule managed via an app. There may be occasional last-minute changes due to client requirements, so you'll need to be adaptable and organised.
This role would suit a Solar Electrician / PV Electrician looking for a secure position with consistent work, a good support structure, overtime available and the chance to pick up training on battery storage systems.
The Role:
Residential solar PV installation work (with some domestic/commercial exposure in the wider business)
UK-wide travel with overnight stays as required
Schedule managed via an app; occasional last-minute changes due to client needs
Monday to Friday, 40 hours; no weekends
Overtime available and performance-based bonus potential
The Person:
Qualified Electrician (NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation)
18th Edition, 2391 and ECS Gold Card
Experience installing / wiring solar PV
