Our client is a leading software house that delivers innovative solutions for airports, car sales, and service operators. As they expand their range of SaaS products, they are committed to maintaining the highest software quality standards. They seek a Junior Ǫuality Assurance Analyst to join their Ǫuality Assurance team. This full-time, permanent position is ideal for someone passionate about software quality and experienced in testing scalable cloud systems.
Role Description:
As a Junior Ǫuality Assurance Analyst, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functionality and reliability of our SaaS products through comprehensive and meticulous testing practices. You will be actively involved in the entire software development lifecycle, contributing to both the creation and execution of test plans and ensuring that all software releases meet our rigorous quality standards before they reach our customers. Your insights and findings will directly influence the development process, making your role essential in driving the continuous improvement of our products.
Responsibilities:
Agile Collaboration:
Actively participate in all phases of the Agile development process, including sprint planning, story estimation, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. Test Case Management: Design, execute, and maintain test cases using automated testing tools. Ensure all tests reflect user stories, use cases, and requirements for validity and feasibility.
Ǫuality Assurance:
Communicate test progress, results, and bugs or errors found during testing to the team. Assist in regression testing and other quality assurance activities during software releases. Cross-Functional Support: Work closely with Software Engineers, Product Managers, Project Managers, and Service Delivery teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Experience:
At least two years of related experience in software testing, particularly in a cloud environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in automation testing tools like Playwright and JavaScript; familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools like Jira and TestRail. Testing Knowledge: Understanding various testing techniques and methodologies, including SDLC, Smoke, Sanity, and Regression testing.
Soft Skills:
Excellent attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, effective time management, and the capacity to work independently and as part of a team. Additional Skills:
Experience with Google Suite and Visual Studio Code would be advantageous.
