They are looking for a Software Support Engineer who can provide support on their suite of bespoke software products, as well as play a key role in client implementation projects. If you have some software support experience as well as knowledge of SQL and AWS then we want to hear from you!
Software Support Engineer – Duties:
Provide 1st Line and 2nd Line Support to Public Sector end-users.
Conduct SQL Server Database Analysis and Maintenance.
Assist in Software Implementation projects.
Maintain AWS cloud infrastructure.
Develop customer reports and dashboards using Metabase.
Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues on the Cloud.
Analyse Server Logs and use the information to analyse and fix reported issues.
Adhere to ITIL processes for efficient support and service delivery.
Support and troubleshoot Hardware issues with the customers including mobile devices, mobile printers, locking systems and monitoring systems.
Software Support Engineer – Our ideal Software Support Engineer candidate will have;
Experience in a Software Support role.
An understanding of ITIL processes.
Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
Hands-on experience with AWS Cloud services and solid understanding of cloud software solutions.
Experience of JIRA.
An understanding of Apple iOS devices, Apple iPadOS devices, Google Android devices, Web browsers, mobile printers and IoT devices.
Training is provided for candidates who are keen to learn, with a genuine passion for software!
