Software Engineer / Data Engineer – Python, Data Pipelines – London / Hybrid - £80,000 to £120,000 + Equity & Benefits – REF JB-44
We have a new opportunity for a Software Engineer / Data Engineer with a focus on designing fast, robust and scalable data processing pipelines that can handle large amounts of data. You will be joining an AI start-up which is formed by a leadership team of researchers and Engineers who come from companies like Google, Meta and Microsoft.
As one of the Founding Engineers, you will be responsible for helping them deliver high quality data to their retrieval systems, LLMs and customers. You will assist with managing the cloud orchestration and data infrastructure, as well as the curation and management of large-scale data ingestion and indexing pipelines.
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
* Previous experience of working in VC backed start-up / scale-up environments where change and scale happens rapidly
* You should have a few years proven commercial experience in a similar role with strong python programming and cloud data infrastructure experience
* You must have experience of working with at least one of the main cloud providers (AWS, Azure or GCP)
* Due to the nature of the business, you should have experience or a demonstrable interest in AI / LLMs
The ideal candidate will have started out in a big tech company and then moved into a start-up / scale-up environment. Any experience of working in AI environments is highly desirable.
This is a Hybrid role where you will be required to come into the London office 2 days a week. Unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship or relocation for this role.
