Hybrid working – Wolverhampton.

An exciting opportunity for a Software Engineer / Software Developer to join a leader in high-performance system controls, that operate globally from over 20 locations. They are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Software Engineer who has developed and tested industrial control systems and high-powered machinery.
The Software Engineer must have demonstrable experience in VB.NET and or Python with an understanding of both software and hardware components. Additionally, having experience in working hands-on with engineering control systems.
You must be able to obtain UK Security Clearance, and be commutable to Wolverhampton.
Tools & Technologies used: VB.NET, Python, C/C++, Embedded Systems, LabVIEW
The Software Engineer / Software Developer / Test Equipment Software Engineer Package & Benefits:
Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience.
Hybrid working – 3 days minimum in the office.
37.5 hours a week.
25 days of holiday + bank holiday

The Software Engineer / Software Developer / Test Equipment Software Engineer Position:
Design, develop, upgrade and maintain software solutions for test equipment.
Work with software applications that perform various controls/commands on hardware systems.
Develop code to perform: closed-loop control, data acquisition and data analysis.
Work closely with and support the Test Equipment Manager and Senior Software Engineer on software solutions.
Technical review for the release of software solutions.
Be a part of the full SDLC from designing through to concept to deployment.
Debugging and troubleshooting issues.
The Software Engineer / Software Developer / Test Equipment Software Engineer Requirements
Demonstrable experience in Python or VB.NET coding software solutions, or programming with C/C++.
Experience in writing code to interface with hardware.
Experience with embedded systems.
Degree in software, electronics, or mechatronics.
Must be commutable to Wolverhampton.
Eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance.
