Software Engineer - Full-Stack - Node.js / JavaScript - Linux - £50,000 - 55,000
nGenium have an exciting opportunity with a leading UK manufacturer of electronic lighting control solutions are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Design and Development team based in Hertfordshire.
This is a permanent full-time position, working with an experienced team across a range of platforms. The role will be primarily focussed on creating code using Node.js and JavaScript, running on an embedded Linux platform.
The duties
Design, develop, code and debug software, primarily using Node.js and JavaScript running on an embedded Linux platform.
Use appropriate software to develop an embedded web server including front and back-end web development.
Enhance and further develop our Cloud Server product.
Integrate and validate new and existing product designs.
Assess third party and open-source software.
The successful candidate will have:
BSc in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering or similar.
Minimum of 3 years solid programming experience in Node.js, JavaScript and Linux.
Experience in working with embedded web servers and cloud-based solution.
