Job Title: Software Engineer
Location: Basildon / Hybrid – Expected 3 days per week on site
Rate: £35.65ph - £40.00ph Umbrella (inside IR35) – Depending on Experience
Employment Type: Contract (Initially to the end of 2024 - likely on-going)
Hours: Standard 37.5 Hours Per Week
Software Engineer Maintain and develop software process and tools to deliver agile software.
Skills Required:
* Software engineering skills covering the V cycle, and Programming language knowledge
Skills Preferred:
* Microsoft Visual Studio wpf framework, Jira, Safe Agile, SCM, Software Process
Experience Required:
* Devops, MS Visual Studio and software development, C# or similar
Experience Preferred:
* Agile, Windows, Github, Matlab
Ability to respond positively on time, limited issues and to prioritise several tasks.
* Experienced across the software V cycle with complex real-time embedded software.
* Also working in an Agile Release Train where multiple scrums contribute towards the ART objectives.
* Candidate needs to be experienced Model based design, ideally using Embedded Coder for the code generation engine.
Education Required:
* Degree or significant software experience.
Education Preferred:
* Degree in software related discipline.

Candidate may be expected to be in the office up to 3 days per week as per new regulations
