Are you a skilled Software Developer seeking an exciting opportunity? Do you have experience with NodeJS, AWS, Linux/Unix systems?

We are recruiting for an expanding global organisation who are looking for a Full Stack Developer to play a vital role in addressing continuous business software development needs!

Key Responsibilities:

Support Day-to-Day Development:

Enhance existing  applications, ensuring seamless integration with third-party APIs.

Drive the transition to AWS for on-premise applications.

Collaborate with business teams, ensuring application alignment with business needs.

Manage JIRA for development, operations, and security requirements.

Establish service levels and processes for core applications.

Foster effective relationships with internal/external stakeholders.

Support non-working hours and provide quarterly progress retrospectives.

Focus on achieving automation and one-click serverless deployment.

Conduct regular application recovery tests.

Cyber Security Focus:

Ensure all business applications are cyber secure.

Collaborate with internal development teams.

Maintain a risk register and address cyber security issues.

Cooperate with cyber security experts for testing and code reviews.

Contribute to Business Projects:

Support digitalisation needs of different departments.

Develop custom applications aligned with business needs.

Document application infrastructure and dependencies.

Engage with peers for future technology choices.

Agile Team Contribution:

Manage development assignments efficiently.

Represent business interests in sprint choices.

Mediate and balance weekly sprint choices.

Relevant Education and Experience:

Degree-level qualification.

AWS Certificate.

Agile Foundation.

Relevant Skills:

NodeJS (Compulsory).

Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially AWS.

Scripting and automation languages (Ruby, Python, Perl, Java, PowerShell, SQL Server, NoSQL, MySQL).

Proficiency in version control, CI/CD, and IaaC tools.

Container frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes.

JIRA or related development tracking tools.

Understanding of various operating systems, especially Linux.

Soft skills: communication, collaboration, self-organization, customer-focus, mentorship, commitment.
