I'm hiring for several Software Developers in Test (SDET's) / Automation Test Engineers to join my client. They have an office in Bath and would like people happy to come in once a month, but the rest of the time you can work remotely. They are a FinTech scaleup who develop a platform that helps with investments. They are now looking for several Software Developers in Test/ Software Engineers in Test to join their team to work across a range of exciting projects .Their Developers in Test/ Engineers in Test take part equally in development and testing and have an automation first approach, looking to automate whenever possible across their products.
They have a complex product that is very backend/ API heavy and currently work predominantly with JavaScript/Typescript based automation frameworks so would love people with experience with these.
You will work in a cross functional squad made up of other SDETS and developers and will also work with colleagues from the wider business. You'll work with developers and other members of the team to champion qa and discover untested scenarios and improve test coverage across their products.
Their ideal people will be experienced SDEts/ Automation testers with solid experience of backend API automation with experience of JavaScript/Typescript technologies, ideally within a event driven architecture. Any experience of mentoring/developing others if at the more senior end would also be beneficial.
Salaries are anywhere from £40,000 up to £70,000 depending on experience (they are open to people more mid level and at the senior end) along with some really good benefits including 27 days holiday, plus bank holidays, your birthday off, 6% pension, Private Medical, learning budgets, health and wellbeing platforms, as well as a whole host of other benefits.
