The Role

As a Software Commissioning Test Team Leader, you will oversee onsite commissioning activities to ensure safe, compliant, and precise testing of systems. Your responsibilities will include reviewing commissioning documentation, supervising activities to adhere to approved procedures, coordinating with other teams, and managing temporary commissioning aids. You will escalate issues, halt activities if necessary, and ensure the plant’s final configuration aligns with specified documentation. Your daily tasks will involve reviewing procedures, managing safety protocols, and supporting team members through complex testing phases.

You will have the following qualifications & experience:

Proven expertise with Siemens PLC and SCADA systems
Extensive knowledge of control panels, electrical installations, and instrumentation solutions
Experience of testing and onsite commissioning in industrial environments
Excellent H&S awareness, with SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred
ECS card or equivalent qualificationDesirable skills include familiarity with drives, plant historians, network design and configuration, cyber security measures, functional safety, and industrial protocols (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, OPC).
