Sociology Teacher (4 Days Per Week) | Immediate Start Until July
Are you a qualified Sociology Teacher looking for a rewarding part-time opportunity in a high-achieving and well-established secondary school?
We are working with a highly regarded East London school that has a strong reputation for academic success, excellent student behaviour, and a commitment to providing outstanding educational opportunities for young people.
The school is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Sociology Teacher to join their successful Humanities department on a 4-day-per-week basis until the end of July.
The Role
Teaching Sociology across Key Stages 4 and 5
Planning and delivering engaging, challenging lessons that inspire students
Monitoring progress and supporting students to achieve their full potential
Working collaboratively within a supportive and experienced department
Part-time position (4 days per week) until July
The Ideal Candidate
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Has experience teaching Sociology up to KS5/A-Level
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and a passion for the subject
Has excellent classroom management skills
Is committed to raising attainment and delivering high-quality teaching
