Teacher of Sociology – Maternity Cover
Location: Medway, Kent
Hours: Part-time – 0.6 FTE
Start Date: Likely after October half term – exact date TBC
Contract: Temporary, maternity cover
Kent Teaching Solutions are currently seeking an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of Sociology to join a school in Medway on a part-time maternity cover basis.
The successful candidate will be required to teach Sociology across Year 10 and Year 12, providing engaging and inspiring lessons and supporting students to achieve their full potential.
The Role
* Teaching Sociology across KS4 and KS5
* Approximately 0.6 FTE
* Maternity cover, expected to commence after October half term
* Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
* Supporting students with their academic progress and development
* Working positively as part of the school's wider teaching team
We are looking for:
* A qualified teacher with experience teaching Sociology
* Someone confident teaching at both GCSE and A-level/KS5
* An enthusiastic and engaging classroom practitioner
* A teacher who is reliable, organised and committed to their students
