Social Worker - MASH Team
A well rated local authority in south Wales is in search of a social worker to be based in the office 2 - 3 days a week for their children's MASH team.
In this MASH team you will be mainly based from the office although home working can be agreed allowing social workers to balance family life. The authority will provide all the necessary equipment laptops, mobile phones etc so social workers can work from home efficiently.
Currently the Local Authority have social workers in place covering the workload, however this vacancy is a result of a drive to increase the amount of staff and further bolster stability through the service. This is predominantly a stable service with other members of staff being in post for at least over 2 years.
Your responsibilities would be:
Provide a timely response to Safeguarding concerns and emergency placements/care packages
Complete outcome focused assessments for people who appear to have care and support needs
Respond to urgent requests for equipment/manual handling concernsRequirements:
Car and Full Drivers License
