Description:

We are currently seeking a Gr 8 Social Worker to serve in London Borough of Sutton.

Position: Social Worker (Gr 8)
Location: Sutton
Salary: £22.60/hr
Job Type: Temp (12 weeks)
Hrs/Wk: 36hrs per week

Requirements:

Child/Adult DBS on Update Service.
Diploma in Social Work, CQSW, CSS, Bachelors or Masters, Degree in Social Work, or other professional social work qualification recognised by the GSCC for the purposes of registration in the UK.
Social Work England Membership
UK Passport/Right to Work (skilled worker VISA's need not apply)
Experience working with Adults with Learning Disabilities
Knowledge of Adult Care legislation and proceduresResponsibilities (Social Care-Social Worker (Gr 8)):

Conduct assessments to determine the needs and eligibility of adults in the local community.
Develop personalized care plans based on the assessed needs and in consultation with the individuals and their families.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to adults, ensuring their welfare and promoting their independence.
Liaise and collaborate with other professionals, such as healthcare providers and community organizations, to coordinate comprehensive care.
Advocate on behalf of adults, ensuring their rights and needs are met within the context of legal and ethical frameworks.
Monitor and review the progress of adults, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
