Pay Rate: Up to £44 per hour
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to join our Children In Care team in St. Helens. Our team is committed to maintaining high standards and expectations in our work with children in our care. We are looking for a professional who is passionate about making a difference and committed to providing stability and continuity for the children and families we serve.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive social work services to children and families, ensuring the highest standards of practice and care.
* Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions to support children and their families.
* Maintain accurate and timely records of all casework, adhering to statutory requirements and organisational policies.
* Monitor and review cases to ensure that children and families receive appropriate and effective services.
Qualifications and Experience:
* 2 years in social work, particularly within the field of children and families.
* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments, managing complex and sensitive cases.
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
* Commitment to remaining with the team for the medium term to provide stability and consistency for children.
