Opus people solutions on behalf of Northampton Children's Trust have an exciting opportunity for a Social Worker to join our Court team.

Job Title: Social Worker - CIC - Court Team - Kettering - Northampton Children's Trust
Length of assignment: 12 weeks
Hours per week: 37
Hourly rate: £38 per hour - UMB
Location: Kettering
Remote/Office based: Office Based

This role involves work for children in care cases, so will require a social worker with the experience and confidence to perform in a court environment. The cases allocated to will be both new and existing, so some cases will need to be started from scratch, while others may need to be picked up part way through the progress.

Social workers will also complete standard core assessments for new referrals, and work with other external agencies to put protection plans in place.

Although not essential it would be helpful if applicants had significant experience of completing court ordered
assessment and/or are PAMS/Parent Assess trained and qualified.

Ideally have a few years of court related experience, and should be well versed in all aspects of the court process.
