Social Worker – Assessment & Intervention
Location: West Sussex County Council
Pay: £38.00–£42.00 per hour (depending on experience)
Contract: Full-Time Locum
Start: ASAP

SW Locums is recruiting an experienced Children's Social Worker to join the Assessment & Intervention Team at West Sussex County Council. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a supportive service while benefiting from flexible hybrid working and competitive rates.
The Role

Complete high-quality assessments and care planning.
*
Undertake child protection and safeguarding work.
*
Carry out direct work with children and families.
*
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Requirements
*
Social Work England registration.
*
Minimum 3 years' post-qualified permanent Local Authority Children's Services experience in England.
*
Strong frontline child protection and assessment experience.
*
Excellent risk assessment and multi-agency working skills.
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Working Pattern: Office-based during duty week, with hybrid flexibility and home working available outside of duty where service needs allow.
