Position: Social Worker
Salary: £31 per hour
Sheffield City Council is seeking a dedicated Social Worker to join our Adoption and Looked After Children Team. This role offers a unique opportunity to positively impact the lives of children in need of adoption and those in care.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing a caseload of children who are looked after by the local authority.
Assessing and supporting prospective adopters through the adoption process.
Providing ongoing support to adoptive families and children in care.
Collaborating with colleagues, external agencies, and professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans.Requirements:
Qualified Social Worker with experience in adoption and looked after children services.
Registered with Social Work England (or eligible for registration).
Knowledge of relevant legislation and policies relating to adoption and children in care.
Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
