Our client is Europe's leading provider of specialist mental health treatment, renowned for delivering the highest standards of care and offering a comprehensive range of clinical services. The hospital accommodates 56 inpatients and provides day care and outpatient services.
They are currently seeking a full-time Social Worker to join the team to support their CAMHS and specialist ED inpatient services. Additionally, the role includes providing coverage for adult inpatient services during annual leave or other absences.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough and objective evaluations of clients, including risk assessments for clients, staff, and the community.
Manage an assigned caseload, addressing the socio-economic circumstances of clients and maintaining detailed records.
Assist with Safeguarding issues, coordinating with statutory services to take appropriate action.
Support colleagues and relatives in understanding changes in legislation and statutory provisions.
Act as the main contact between relatives, agencies, and other organisations, coordinating communications regarding admissions, discharges, and long-term needs.
Provide staff training on adult and child safeguarding (training provided by the company).
Candidate Requirements:
A degree in social work and SWE registration.
A solid understanding of the Mental Health Act, Children's Act, and Safeguarding.
Experience working as a qualified practitioner in a mental health setting.
