Are you an experienced, passionate and qualified Social Worker looking for a new rewarding opportunity?
Our exceptional client in Grimsby are looking for a new member to join their current team within the rewarding Fostering and Childcare sector.
This role comes with an attractive salary up to £43,000pa depending on skills and experience £2,000 car allowance, £2,000 on call bonus (pro-rata) and mileage also paid at 42p per mile.
Some of the duties will include:
* Undertake Form F assessments.
* Support Carers by telephone and home visits.
* Undertake out of hours (1 week out of 10)
* Complete risk assessments.
* Recruit, approve, train and support Foster Carers.
* Ensuring a safe, healthy, nurturing and learning environment for children/young people.
Successful candidates will hold:
* Diploma in Social Work or Certificate of Qualification in Social Work.
* Minimum 1 years post-qualifying experience working with children and families in a Social care setting.
* Experience of fostering.
* Experience of working in assessment.
* Working knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance including:
1. Children Act
2. Working Together
3. Every Child Matters
4. Care Standards Act
5. Fostering Regs
6. Framework for Assessment
