Pay Rate: £45 - £50 per hour (assignment rate)
Contract: Locum, 3-Months
Hours: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

The Social Work Team Manager will nurture, lead and manage a team of staff whoprovide a professional Social Work service across a designated professional and / or geographical area. Taking responsibility within that Social Work Team for professional practice, risk management, budget management, staff supervision, support and deployment.
The Social Work Team Manager will participate in strategic developments taking the lead in delegated projects where required.
The Social Work Team Manager will, in conjunction with senior managers and interagency colleagues, take a lead role in public protectionprocesses as appropriate to the specific role. For example child protection, adult protection or offender management.
The Social Work Team Manager will have responsibility for communicating with service users and carers including resolution of Complaints at Stage 1 of the Council Policy and participating in Stage 2 investigations.
The Social Work Team Manager will participate in the Out of Hours Social Work standby / senior standby rota.
Requirements of the Social Worker:

Degree or equivalent in social work
Current Scottish Social Work registration (SSSC)
Significant Social Worker experience in the UK and experience in a managemenet role.
PVG membership in relation to working with Protected Adults, and Children
