Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) Mentor
* 32.5 hours a week, permanent
* Monday – Friday 8.15am-3.15pm
* Term time plus five inset days
* Scale 5 Point 12-17
* £28,403 - £30,928
* Actual Salary £21,722 - £23,654 pa
We are looking to appoint a SEMH Mentor to support our students and help them to overcome barriers to learning in order to reach their full potential in collaboration with our pastoral team.
The successful candidate will be passionate about mentoring and supporting students and have experience of working with young people with the ability to manage and motivate students.
Candidates will need to be assertive, caring, good communicators and have previous experience of working with children or young people with social, emotional and mental health with learning. A strong commitment to inclusion and equality is essential to the post. This is a non-teaching role. Please see the job specification for further requirements.
