Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Technical Expert and Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Snowflake, cloud data warehousing, and a strong background in data architecture. This role will involve designing, implementing, and optimizing Snowflake-based data solutions to support our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

* Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable and secure data architecture using Snowflake, ensuring alignment with best practices and company standards.

* Data Modeling: Develop and maintain complex data models and schema designs for Snowflake, supporting various business applications and analytics needs.

* ETL/ELT Processes: Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes for data integration and transformation, leveraging Snowflake capabilities.

* Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, including query optimization, resource management, and storage optimization.

* Security: Implement robust security measures, including data encryption, access control, and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.

* Collaboration: Work closely with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure successful project delivery.

* Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest Snowflake features and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovative solutions to improve data architecture and processes.

* Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for Snowflake architecture, processes, and procedures.

* Experience:

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in data architecture and data warehousing.

* At least 3 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake.

* Technical Skills:

* Expertise in Snowflake architecture, features, and best practices.

* Proficiency in SQL and database design.

* Experience with ETL/ELT tools and processes.

* Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

* Familiarity with data security and governance practices.

Soft Skills:

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

* Strong project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Snowflake certification(s).

* Experience with data integration tools such as Talend, Informatica, or Matillion.

* Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Java.

* Experience with BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.

* Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
