Slitting Operator – Manufacturing Environment
Location: North Lincolnshire
Permanent | Full-Time | Continental Shifts
An established manufacturing business in North Lincolnshire is seeking a motivated and reliable Slitting Operator to join its Finishing Department. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with previous machine operating experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities of a Slitting Operator
Operate slitting and conversion machinery safely and efficiently.
Set up equipment in line with production specifications.
Carry out quality inspections to ensure products meet required standards.
Accurately complete production and quality documentation.
Load, unload, palletise and package finished products as required.
Maintain a clean and organised work area.
Identify and report machine faults, quality issues or safety concerns.
Support continuous improvement and team objectives.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience operating manufacturing machinery (slitting experience advantageous).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
Flexible approach to overtime when required.
FLT licence desirable but not essential.
