Job Description:
We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Slinger to join our team in Oswestry. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional looking for an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safely and efficiently attach and detach loads to and from cranes and other lifting equipment.
* Direct crane operators to move loads to required locations.
* Perform pre-use inspections of lifting equipment.
* Ensure all lifting operations comply with safety regulations and company procedures.
* Communicate effectively with crane operators and other site personnel.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements:
* Must have a valid CPCS Blue Slinger card or NPORS Slinger card.
* Proven experience working as a Slinger.
* Strong understanding of health and safety regulations related to lifting operations.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
* High attention to detail and commitment to safety.
