Key Responsibilities of a Slinger and Signaller:
* Safety Management: Directing crane operations safely and efficiently to ensure the correct positioning of loads during lifting operations.
* Communication: Providing clear and concise hand signals or radio instructions to crane operators.
* Cladding and Glazing: Assisting with the installation of cladding and glazing components as part of the facade installation team.
* Equipment Handling: Operating and managing slinging and signalling equipment, ensuring its maintenance and proper use.
* Team Coordination: Working closely with crane operators and site teams to maintain safe and effective workflow.
* Adherence to Safety Protocols: Ensuring all safety guidelines are followed, particularly in high-risk and high-altitude environments.
* Problem Solving: Quickly and effectively resolving any issues that arise during lifting and installation operations.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience as a Slinger and Signaller, especially in the context of cladding and glazing facade installations.
* Certification: Valid CPCS Card is essential. Additional relevant certifications are highly desirable.
* Language Skills: The ideal candidate will have conversational-level Romanian skills, as most of the installation team is Romanian.
* Skill Set: Strong practical skills and a commitment to safety and precision in all tasks.
* Equipment Knowledge: Familiarity with the use and maintenance of lifting and signalling equipment.
* Locality: Ideally, candidates should be based in or around Wembley, London.
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday: 08:00 - 17:30 (paid 9 hours).
* No work on Saturdays and Sundays.

* Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.
* Flexibility: Negotiable salary based on experience, with options for temporary or permanent contracts. Payment can be made on UTR, PAYE, or LTD basis.
