Support Technician Role:
Hours: 8am-5pm
Days: Monday-Friday
Salary: £22 - £25k pa
Industry leading training provided
Probation Period is 6 months
20x days holidays – after 6 months employment we allow 1 additional days leave on the persons birthday
Pension enrolment following 3 months of employment
Location: London & Kent Area
Requirements:
Must have full clean driving license and be comfortable driving vans up to Boxer/large Transit size.
Must have a familiarity with the use of tools (hand tools, power tools)
Must be confident to work both as part of a team and, eventually, individually
Must be able to take instruction and guidance from our Office & Technicians and carry out works as directed ensuring respect is shown for our customers, our customers property and our equipment.
Must be able to communicate effectively on all levels.
Must be punctual
Must be understanding that our customers are often in an overwhelming situation following a disaster in their property and as such sensitivity must be shown at all times.
CSCS card desired but not mandatory
IPAF desired but not mandatory
PASMA desired but not mandatory
Familiarity with building materials desired but not mandatory
Must be accepting of a full DBS check which we are required to do for all new members of Staff
General activities noted below but not limited to:
Listing, packing, lifting, loading, unloading contents.
Stripping out wet or fire affected materials from properties both commercial and domestic
Cleaning contents affected from fire/water incidents
Cleaning property structures affected from fire/water incidents
Mould remediation
Installing and removing drying equipment
Please be aware the role is very physical.
