Skilled Operative
£26,436.80 per annum | Permanent | Full-time | 40 hours per week
We are recruiting for a Skilled Operative to join a busy manufacturing team in Chesterfield. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly and manufacture of flagpoles and bespoke products, with full training provided.
The Role
Assemble flagpoles and bespoke products.
Measure and prepare materials for production.
Operate production equipment and power tools.
Move and store materials and finished goods.
Pack products ready for dispatch.
Assist with stock checks and general warehouse duties.
Maintain machinery and keep the production area clean and organised.
Support engineers with day-to-day tasks.
Occasional local deliveries and off-site work may be required.
About You
Manufacturing experience, ideally working with metals.
Confident using power tools or similar equipment.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Good work ethic with a positive, can-do attitude.
Able to work independently and manage your own workload.
Full UK driving licence required.
Forklift licence is desirable but not essential.
