Skilled Labourer (3 Month Temporary Contract)
£15.00 Per Hour 

Servara Ltd are pleased to be partnering with a well established contractor to recruit a Skilled Labourer for a 3 month temporary project based in North Devon. This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy team delivering a programme of external property improvement and health and safety works across occupied residential properties.
Working alongside Multi Skilled Operatives, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of construction, environmental improvement and external maintenance projects.

Skilled Labourer Duties Will Include:

- Assisting Multi Skilled Operatives with external construction and improvement works
- Material handling and transporting materials around site
- Site preparation and clearance works
- Supporting excavation and groundwork activities
- Assisting with concrete preparation, mixing and placement
- Supporting fencing, guarding and handrail installations
- Carrying out waste removal and site clearance activities
- Maintaining high standards of site housekeeping and presentation
- Assisting with traffic and pedestrian management where required
- Loading and unloading tools, equipment and materials
- Working safely within occupied residential environments
- Ensuring all works are completed in line with health and safety requirements
- Providing a professional and customer-focused approach when working around residents

The Skilled Labourer Will Need:

- Previous experience within construction, groundworks, property maintenance or external works environments
- Experience using basic hand and power tools safely
- Good understanding of site health and safety requirements
- Ability to undertake physically demanding work on a daily basis
- Experience supporting groundwork, fencing, paving or general construction activities would be advantageous
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required
- Good communication and customer service skills
